Seeking Disability Representation

As millions of Americans know all too well, having a disability can result in not being able to work or take part in routine daily activities. Disability can also cause someone to rely heavily on their family and other loved ones to assist with nearly all of their day-to-day needs, which can add unnecessary stress to a household. During times such as these, most attempt to secure some form of assistance to relieve their loved ones of this burden. Unfortunately, the process for obtaining such assistance can be long and frustrating, often resulting in being denied the assistance that is so desperately needed. The Social Security Administration is often understaffed and over budget, leaving countless Americans to suffer alone.

Our government offers the chance for anyone seeking Social Security Disability to acquire representation in an effort to increase their chances of having their case evaluated properly and thoroughly. Fees

The fees that attorneys charge for representing you in the appeal process are regulated by federal law. This means that the attorney fee will be the same for every attorney across the United States. The attorney will be paid only if you win and if the Social Security Administration (SSA) approves your claim. If the SSA approves your claim, it will send you a check for retroactive benefits, and a check covering the months your case was pending in the Administration. Upon your claim’s approval, the SSA withholds the smaller of 25% or $6,000.00 from your (and your family member’s, if applicable) retroactive check, and sends the money directly to your attorney as your fee.
