Ryan Slep

Ryan joined Harris Law in April 2026, bringing more than a decade of legal experience to clients throughout Northern Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Central Connecticut State University, graduating Cum Laude, before receiving his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2009. Ryan began his legal career as a prosecutor, where he gained valuable courtroom and trial experience that continues to benefit his clients today.

Ryan’s practice focuses on Criminal Defense, Family Law matters not involving minor children, Driver’s License Restoration, and Expungements. He understands the significant impact legal issues can have on individuals and families and is committed to providing practical solutions, honest guidance, and dedicated representation. Drawing on experience from both sides of the courtroom, Ryan works diligently to protect his clients’ rights and help them achieve favorable outcomes.
